Elder care at home, a daily AI parents companion phone call, Hindi, medicines, and how to reach us at support@hassist.in.
Hassist is elder care at home through a daily phone call. Maya AI is a parents companion who calls elderly parents in India for company, then the family gets a short note. It is not a medical device.
Hassist is not a nursing home. Your parent stays in their own home, and Maya, our AI companion, calls them every day at the time you choose. On the call, Maya talks with them in their language, reminds them to take their medicines and checks how they are feeling. She also helps with a lot more: arranging a doctor consultation from home, warning them about scam calls and messages, and quickly alerting family if something seems wrong. After every call, you see a short update on your family dashboard. Keep a local contact for anything that needs someone nearby.
Yes. Maya is a parents companion for elderly parents living alone in India. The call is company first: ordinary conversation, then gentle medicine check-ins when they belong.
Maya AI speaks 5+ Indian languages, including Hindi + Hinglish, English, Bengali, Marathi, Telugu and Tamil, the way many parents in India actually talk. Choose the preferred language when you sign up.
Your private family dashboard keeps everything in one place. After every call, you see a short note on your parent’s mood, whether they took their medicines and anything useful they mentioned. You can leave a special message for the next call, like a birthday wish, and Maya will bring it up. You can also change the daily call time, follow hospital quotations that Maya Negotiator is negotiating for you, and review and pay for anything your parent asked for, such as medicine orders and on-demand services.
Yes. You can sign up, read the updates after every call and manage everything from anywhere in the world. Maya calls your parent on their Indian (+91) mobile number, and plans are paid in Indian rupees through Cashfree.
Maya can gently ask about medicines during the call, at the right time of day. It never diagnoses, never tells someone to take a dose, and is not a medical device.
Create an account at hassist.in/signup, tell us about your parent, and start a 3-day trial. After that, pay Pro ₹999 or Max ₹1,999 for 30 days through Cashfree (UPI, cards, RuPay, netbanking) on India (+91) numbers.
After the 3-day trial, pay Pro ₹999 or Max ₹1,999 for 30 days through Cashfree. UPI, Visa, Mastercard, RuPay, and netbanking are accepted.
The 3-day trial includes only the daily companion call, so your parent can get to know Maya. Other features need a paid plan. Pro adds medicine reminders and orders, a doctor consultation, emergency coordination, Safe Circle scam protection and Maya Negotiator. Max adds all of these plus the live Sunday yoga class and on-demand help. You can upgrade to Pro or Max anytime from the Plan page.
Max members can join a live yoga session every Sunday on WhatsApp. Each session is led by a yoga instructor in a small batch of around 5–10 people. The instructor can include simple, age-appropriate challenges and group activities to keep each session engaging. Participation should match the parent’s health, mobility, and medical guidance.
If a parent needs an eligible service, Hassist can help the family arrange a booking through providers such as Urban Company, Uber and similar services. On-demand services depend on the availability of service providers in your parent’s city, so some services may not be available everywhere. Provider charges are not included in the Max subscription and are charged separately. The booking details and invoice will be sent to the registered family member.
Pro and Max plans include 1 doctor tele-consultation per month. You choose the day that suits your parent, and we schedule it with you over WhatsApp. It is a routine consultation, not an emergency service. If someone is in danger, call 112 or your local emergency number.
Maya Negotiator helps your family get a better price when a parent needs surgery or hospital treatment. You can start it from the family dashboard in two ways. If you already have a hospital quotation, upload it as a PDF or photo. If you do not, tell us the surgery, your budget, when it is needed, whether the patient has insurance, the city, the patient age, current medication and, if you like, a preferred hospital and room type (shared, semi-private or private). The Hassist team then reviews it and negotiates with the hospital on your behalf, and if the hospital will not come down, we look for cheaper alternatives that fit your budget. You will hear back within 24 hours and can follow the progress on your dashboard. When your options are ready you choose one, or ask for more. Once you choose, our team gets the hospital to confirm the price in writing. You can open that confirmed or revised quotation on your dashboard and approve it, and only then does the team book the appointment and tell you the date, place and what to bring. You pay the hospital directly, and Hassist never handles the treatment payment. Savings depend on the hospital and are not guaranteed, and Hassist does not give medical advice or choose treatment. The doctor and hospital decide the final plan and price.
Maya Negotiator is included with the Pro and Max plans at no extra charge. It is not part of the 3-day trial; choose Pro or Max from the Plan page to use it. You can have one hospital request in progress at a time, and you can start a new one after the treatment is completed or the request is cancelled.
Registered users can provide a family emergency contact. When a valid WhatsApp number is available, Hassist will share those emergency-contact details with the parent through WhatsApp so they can keep them readily available. If an emergency is reported or noticed during a Hassist interaction, our support team will try to inform the registered family member or emergency contact. We may also try to help connect the family with a nearby ambulance service. However, Hassist is not an emergency-response platform, does not monitor parents continuously, and cannot guarantee that an emergency will be detected or that an ambulance will be available.
Email support@hassist.in. We read every email. You can also connect with our live WhatsApp support agent through the website. This is not an emergency service. If someone is in danger, call local emergency services and a person who can reach them.
Yes. Every call and every family note is encrypted in transit and at rest, the same standard used by the secure messaging apps families already trust for private conversations. Only your registered account can see your parent’s call history and summaries. We never sell or share conversation data with advertisers or unrelated third parties.
If your parent gets a call, link, SMS, or message that feels suspicious, they can share it with Maya on WhatsApp. Maya reviews what was shared and calls them back right away to say whether it looks like a scam, so they know not to proceed, for example not sharing an OTP, not making a payment, or not sharing personal or bank details. Safe Circle is a helpful second opinion, not a guarantee, and does not replace reporting fraud to the bank or the police.
