Terms

Last updated 26 September 2026

These terms apply when you use Hassist. By creating an account you agree to them. Hassist is an AI companion that phones your parent. It is not a nurse, a doctor or an emergency service, so please keep a trusted local contact who can reach your parent in person.

Your account

You sign in with your Google account; Hassist does not use a separate password. Keep your Google account secure, as anyone who can sign in to it can see your family dashboard. The details you give us about your parent should be accurate, and you should only add your parent with their agreement.

The service

Maya, our AI companion, calls your parent on an Indian (+91) number at the time you choose, and your family dashboard shows updates after the calls. Depending on your plan, Hassist also includes medicine reminders and orders, emergency coordination, doctor tele-consultation, Maya Negotiator, live yoga and on-demand help.

Plans and payments

New accounts start with a 3-day trial. After that, Pro (₹999) and Max (₹1,999) each run for 30 days from payment. Payments by card, UPI, RuPay and netbanking are processed by Cashfree. A trial ends on its own and does not turn into a paid plan unless you pay. What each plan includes is shown on our Plans section and your dashboard.

No refunds. Payments for plans and on-demand service bills are non-refundable, including for unused days of a plan, except where the law requires otherwise. Plans do not renew automatically, so you are never charged again unless you choose to pay.

On-demand services

When you ask us for a cab, a home service or similar help, we arrange it with a third-party provider. The provider’s charge is separate from your plan: we add the final bill to your dashboard and you pay it there. The provider is responsible for the service itself.

Maya Negotiator and doctor consultations

Maya Negotiator helps with hospital and surgery prices. Savings depend on the hospital and are not guaranteed, you choose the option, and you pay the hospital directly. The treating doctor and hospital decide the treatment. Doctor tele-consultations are given by the doctor, who is responsible for any medical advice.

What Hassist does not do

Hassist does not diagnose, prescribe or dispatch emergency help. Maya can miss things a person would notice, and call notes and wellbeing signals are supportive information, not medical records. In an emergency, call 112.

Fair use

Please do not misuse the service, for example by giving false details, calling people who have not agreed, or trying to access someone else’s account.

Liability

We work hard to keep calls and alerts reliable, but the service depends on phone networks and third parties and may sometimes fail. To the extent the law allows, Hassist is not liable for losses arising from missed calls, delays, or decisions made on the basis of call notes, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 30 days.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms and will show the date above when we do. You can stop using Hassist at any time by emailing us; we may suspend accounts that break these terms. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
