How it works

How Hassist works, step by step

Hassist is designed to be set up in about five minutes and then run quietly in the background.

Short answerYou sign up and enter your parent’s number, language and preferred call time. Maya then phones your parent daily, you read a private Family Note after each call, and Hassist alerts you about medicines running low or emergencies.

Key facts

Step by step

  1. Sign up. Sign in with Google and tell Hassist about your parent: their name, phone number, age, language, whether they are your mother or father, and the best call time.
  2. Maya calls your parent. Each day at the chosen time, Maya makes a normal phone call. She chats, asks gently about medicines and brings up any message you left.
  3. Read the Family Note. After each call you get a short note of what mattered, plus trends over time that compare each call with your parent’s own usual pattern.
  4. Manage medicines. Add medicines or upload a prescription, and track tablets left. Review refill requests and confirm the ones you want.
  5. Stay protected. If your parent describes an emergency, you see an alert, the Hassist team is alerted and your contacts are phoned. Add a local contact for anyone nearby.

What the parent experiences
