Gentle live yoga for senior citizens, from home
Staying active is hard when a parent lives alone. Hassist’s live yoga session gives them a friendly, regular class at home, led by an instructor in a small group.
Key facts
- Live session every Sunday with an instructor
- Small batches of 5–10 so everyone is seen
- Challenges matched to each parent’s mobility
- Included in the Max plan (₹1,999 for 30 days)
Why a live class
A live class gives a fixed, social moment in the week. A small group means the instructor can adjust for each person, which matters at any age.
Matched to mobility
You tell Hassist about your parent’s mobility, and the challenges are kept simple and suitable. Nobody is asked to do more than they comfortably can.
Alongside the daily call
Yoga sits next to Maya’s daily companionship calls, so a parent has both a regular conversation and a regular activity to look forward to.
Check with a doctor first
Seniors with heart, balance, joint or blood-pressure concerns should check with their doctor before starting any exercise programme.
Frequently asked questions
Does my parent need to install any app?
Not for the daily calls: Maya simply calls their phone. The live Sunday yoga class is joined online using the WhatsApp link.
Is it safe for seniors?
Sessions are gentle and matched to mobility, but every person is different. Please check with your parent’s doctor first.
Which plan includes yoga?
The Max plan, ₹1,999 for 30 days, includes the live yoga session along with daily calls.
What if my parent cannot join a Sunday?
They can simply join the next week; nothing accumulates or is lost.
