Cabs and home services

Cabs and home services for your parent, arranged for them

Booking a cab or a plumber through an app is easy for us and hard for many elderly parents. With Hassist, your parent simply asks, and the team helps arrange it through trusted providers.

Short answerOn the Max plan, Hassist helps elderly parents book cabs and home services such as plumbers, electricians and salon visits through providers like Urban Company and Uber. Your parent asks on WhatsApp, and the family sees the booking and bill on the dashboard.

Key facts

Why parents need help with bookings

Many elderly parents are not comfortable booking through apps, entering addresses or paying online. A small job at home or a ride to the temple can wait for days because nobody is around to book it.

How it works

Your parent or the family sends a request on WhatsApp. The Hassist team arranges the booking with a provider, and the request shows on the family dashboard with its status.

Clear bills, paid by the family

Once the service is arranged, the final bill appears on the dashboard. The family pays it online, and the booking details and invoice go to the registered family member.

Availability

On-demand services depend on the availability of service providers in your parent’s city, so some services may not be available everywhere.
